David has been an incredibly valuable resource to my R&D team to explore a use case that we’ve been working on for many years. The area of focus for our use case involved algebraic topology and graph theory to be used for high-dimensional feature discovery and analysis. The process our team used with David was to guide particular math challenges that we understood from an abstract standpoint but needed a prototype that resulted in either data frames or working visuals to which we could provide additional guidance. This process resulted in a very loosely defined framework that David had to adapt. As a data science company, we have observed in the many other data scientists that we attempted to use before David for this same project that the loose definition of requirements is counter to the typical workflow of data science and, even more broadly speaking, engineering. David proved he had the skills and abilities to help us define what requirements should be as we progressed through the project together.
